These are LGBT respectful counseling and psychotherapy sites we are aware of. Those that are marked with an asterisks are those about whom we have received positive feedback from clients we have referred. The absence of an asterisk merely means we have not heard any feedback or have not previously made referrals to these agencies.

For Counseling Agencies: If you would like us to include your agency on this referral list please contact us . Please note that we will generally only list agencies who are committed to providing LGBT respectful psychotherapy and do not view non-heterosexual orientation as a psychological problem.

For LGBT Clients: If you have had a positive or a negative experience of any of the agencies/ therapists listed here please do contact us to share your experience.

Counseling and Care Centre* :: Launch Site
We have previously referred clients to Juliana Toh, Anthony Yeo, Tan Boon Huat and Soo Jen. The feedback from clients has generally been good. Some have mentioned that the reception could be a bit friendlier to LGBT clients, but don't let that deter you. Clients we have referred to Counseling and Care include married gay men and parents of gay children.

SACAC Counseling Services* :: Launch Site
We have previously referred clients dealing with relationship and coming out issues to Margo Pasarella. The feedback was positive.

Samuel Lee
Oogachaga is firmly of the opinion that a person's sexual orientation – whether LGB or straight – is perfectly normal and natural and that further attempts to change sexual orientation are often fueled by internalized homophobia. However Oogachaga also believes that every client has the right to seek sexual orientation change. We will however only refer clients to therapists who place the client's need first and will explain the significant difficulties and risks associated with attempts to change sexual orientation. Samuel Lee is one such therapists.

Dr Tay Liam Kai*
At times a person may need to consult a psychiatrist particularly where medication may assist at least temporarily to stabilize their situations. Clients referred to Dr Tay have included clients working through depression. The feedback is that Dr Tay is professional, understanding and non-judgmental in his approach to clients. He may be contacted at Mt Elizabeth Medical Centre (Tel: +65 6733-5565).
