Oogachaga is looking for motivated volunteers to fill in the following positions. Field experience is not required. The passion to learn and dedication to our mission are vital. All positions are open to both male and female.

 

Programme Manager (Events)
The manager is expected to work with other Programme Managers to plan the events to be organised for the year. He sets out the goals and manages the people, tasks and activities necessary to reach them.

Relationship Co-ordinator (Funding)
This co-ordinator actively seeks and develops relationships with external parties to source for funds and canvass for sponsorship. Funding and sponsorship may be used for the whole OC organisation or for a specific event. He is to work together with the sponsorship leads in the programmes / events committees.

Web Designer
This co-ordinator is the sole in-charge to develop and maintain the OC website. He is to work closely with the designer and copywriter on all online, including e-mail, publicity materials. Knowledge of internet standards is required.

Finance Co-ordinator
This co-ordinator is responsible for the accounting records and administers the collection and payment of funds. He works closely with the Administration Manager to plan budgets and manage finances.

IS Co-ordinator
This co-ordinator maintains OC Information System. E-mails and online groups are created and maintained by him. He is also to work closely with the Profiles Co-ordinator to develop and maintain the database of contacts. Knowledge of software integration is preferred.

Resources  Co-ordinator
This co-ordinator maintains a ledger of resources. He keeps track of all materials and replenishes them whenever necessary. He has to work closely with all team directors to co-ordinate the usage and/or distribution of resources. All OC materials including publicity materials, presentation materials, stationaries, etc are to be administered by him.

Clients Co-ordinator
This co-ordinator pro-actively attends to general enquiries and face-to-face counselling appointment matters. A pro-active approach includes checking in with clients who have not had a session for a long time or have requested for further help or information, and other external counsellors who have referred a client to OC.

Profiles Co-ordinator
This co-ordinator manages OC database of contacts with the use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, co-developed with the IS Co-ordinator. He is responsible for the integrity and privacy of the data, and for the publicity of programmes and materials to our database.

Volunteers Co-ordinator
This co-ordinator looks after the welfare of all volunteers and administer their recruitment and capabilities development. He has to work closely with all team directors to co-ordinate the mobilization of our volunteers. He is also required to organize feedback sessions and discussion.
