We are pleased to announce our second 2005 Oogachaga Talks titled "Coming Home To Our Families - To Tell or Not to Tell?" conducted in conjuction with LookingGlass.
Come and hear our panel of three gay persons (Kokwei, DominicChua and Eileena Lee), two mums and one brother share their journey of coming home to each other. What are the challenges they faced when they found out their family members were gay? What made these three gay persons share their lives as gay people to their families? If they could do it all over again, would they? How would they do it differently?
And what about you? What must you consider before you decide to come out to family members? In fact should you come out at all? Or perhaps before coming out we need to come home first as Clarence Singam shares in his latest Fridae article

The panelist will share the lessons they've learnt about being human, being strong, finding empathy and learning to love from their unique and yet common journeys. Come hear them share about their ups and downs, their struggles , their own healing and the celebration of each others' selfhoods. The sharing will be followed by a question and answer time and hopefully we grow together from this mutual sharing. In fact why don't you bring a family member along!
